Sprint has launched three new phones this Thanksgiving weekend; the Motorola Q9c, RIM BlackBerry 8130 Pearl, and Motorola i335.
The Q9c was previously titled the “Q2”, but is nearly identical to the Motorola Q9m on Verizon Wireless, running Windows Mobile 6.0. The Q9c includes Java, and will eventually support Sprint Navigation. The phone also ships with Sprint TV support and support for the Sprint Music Store.
The BlackBerry 8130 Pearl is Sprint’s first consumer BlackBerry offering. Sprint has also launched the previously revealed $29.99 BlackBerry Consumer Plan, which includes BIS (but not BES) support, as well as Sprint Navigation and Sprint TV.
Finally, Sprint has launched the Motorola i355 on the Nextel side of the company. The iDEN phone is similar to the Motorola i425 launched on Boost Mobile, but is slightly thicker and more ruggedized. The phone is meant to be comparable however, with the i335 being the post-pay (Nextel) variant of the i425 on Boost.
The Motorola Q9c is available for $149.99 with new service ($449.99 without contract) and the BlackBerry 8130 Pearl is available for $199.99 with new service ($499.99 without contract). The Motorola i335 is available for $49.99 with new service ($249.99 without contract).
