Sprint Gives Nextel Users Aircard Discount

Sprint has today corrected a nagging merger issue. Effective as of now, any Nextel customer can sign up for a Sprint EV-DO aircard at the bundled price. Previously Nextel customers were forced to either migrate their phones to Sprint CDMA, or pay the full $80/month rate for a standalone aircard.

Now existing Nextel iDEN customers will only be charged $60/month for aircards and will be offered all new customer aircard rebates. Customers can sign up for the bundled billing via Sprint customer service, or at any Sprint Store.
