We have received reports that Sprint is planning to update multiple phone’s firmware soon. Specifically, the LG PM-225, Sanyo VI-2300, and Sanyo MM-8300 are expected to receive firmware updates in the near future.
In addition, we can now confirm Sprint has decided to carry the Sanyo RL-4930, a ruggedized version of the Sanyo RL-4920, which will be aimed at Nextel users in the newly formed Sprint Nextel company.
