Sprint has announced a further expansion of its Spark high-speed data overlay with Texas having the most markets launched at once at 5 markets, while also launching service in other major cities such as New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Sprint has also announced the future launch of the first prepaid Sprint Spark-compatible device in the Netgear Mingle. The Mingle will launch on Virgin Mobile in the future under the Broadband2Go service. The Mingle accommodates up to 10 wireless devices simultaneously and is a dual-mode 3G/4G LTE device, providing up to 12.5 hours active usage (1,800mAh battery) and featuring secure access with password protection, plus a 1.77-inch LCD display screen as seen above.
