Both Sprint and T-Mobile have announced the future launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5 in Gold to complement the lineup in White and Blue. The phone is identical to the currently available models aside from the color.
Sprint will be selling the phone beginning on May 30th on its Sprint Easy Pay plan for $0 down (plus tax) and 24 monthly payments of $27.09 with those buying Samsung Galaxy S 5 through Sprint Web Sales or Telesales will get a matching Gold Samsung HM1900 Bluetooth® headset at no additional charge while supplies last.
T-Mobile will sell theirs for the same current pricing as the Black or White Galaxy S5, which is set at $660 full retail or $27.50 over 24 months. Other carriers in AT&T and US Cellular have also been confirmed to carry the phone, but have yet to issue their respective plans. Verizon has also been confirmed to support the phone, but the phone will be limited to selected third-party dealers and will not be available through the carrier directly. All of the aforementioned carriers are also expected to launch the phone on May 30th though specific launch dates may vary.
That’s an interesting color. I don’t think I’ll be getting an S5 in that color though.
