Sony Mobile has announced the Xperia C4 mid-range smartphone with a focus on high-quality selfies. The phone features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, an octa-core 64-bit 1.7GHz MediaTek MTK6752 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with microSD slot and a 2,600mAh battery. The phone will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sony’s user interface.
The main specifications consist of a 5 megapixel 25mm wide-angle front facing camera with its own dedicated flash and the rear main camera is a 13 megapixel unit with LED flash as well. Sony’s latest camera software will also include a number of unique shooting modes. Sony Mobile has yet to confirm pricing but has confirmed that the phone is planned for a June launch.
