Sling Submits New Version of SlingPlayer for iPhone

ImageSling Media has submitted a new version of the previously rejected SlingPlayer iPhone application for approval and inclusion in the App Store.

The new version is notable for featuring true 16:9 aspect ratio support for programming, new browser for DiSH Network programming instead of streaming the program guide and 3G streaming support for locations outside the US.

    Wait, so everyone gets 3G streaming EXCEPT AT&T customers? Wow, FCC- where you at? And why the heck does Apple agree to this BS? What the heck is AT&T going to do if Apple just says NO and allows the full Sling Player anyway?

    And people say Microsoft is the monopoly, LOL!
