PCMag is reporting and citing Skype representatives on confirmation that Verizon’s version of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab will rely on the recently released Android version of Skype, which is restricted to Wi-Fi access. Verizon Wireless currently features an exclusive agreement with Skype for the 3G enabled version of Skype Mobile on its lineup, but it will not be available on the Galaxy Tab owing to the removal of voice calling capability on the US version, confirmed during the Samsung media event for the Galaxy Tab in September.
I have a galaxy tablet from verizon but not able to locate contacts when I know I’ve talked with them before on skype. Should I remove the skype program on my tablet and reinstall the whole program. I’m 66 years of age and though slow on the computer I’m able to follow good instructions.
