Samsung Reveals Convoy 3 Push-to-Talk Clamshell Phone for Verizon

Samsung has revealed the third version of the Samsung Convoy rugged push-to-talk clamshell on Verizon Wireless with the Convoy 3. The Convoy 3 features a 3.2-megapixel camera with video capture, media playback with external controls, messaging, and a 480MHz processor. The push to talk clamshell supports Verizon’s 3G EVDO network for Push-to-Talk support and features Bluetooth along with a microSD slot. The phone’s key updates from the previous Convoy 2 are dual microphones with active noise cancellation for voice calls and push-to-talk sessions along with an improved mil-spec, weather and moisture resistant bodyshell from the Convoy 2. Verizon has yet to officially announce release and pricing details for the Convoy 3.
