Samsung representative Carla Saavedra has confirmed via Twitter that the manufacturer is currently developing a fix for US variants of the Samsung Galaxy S which have been plagued with GPS functionality issues since launch. Previous fixes required device rooting or overly complicated workarounds not suitable for the majority of consumers. The fix is expected in September.
