Internal Radio Shack documentation has confirmed that the T-Mobile G2 will launch through the retailer this Sunday October 3rd for $149.99 after new 2 year agreement and $199.99 for qualified upgrades, FlexPay and additional line activations.
The T-Mobile G2 features Qualcomm’s MSM7230 chipset codenamed Scorpion which is a variant of the Snapdragon series clocked at 800MHz and featuring an updated GPU. The rest of the featureset consists of Android 2.2, a 3.7-inch capacitive touch display, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus/LED flash/720p video recording, HSPA+ support, Swype virtual keyboard, and 4GB of internal memory with a preinstalled 8 GB microSD memory card.
