PagePlus Officially Launches Verizon LTE Support After Soft Launch In October

After first being soft launched in October through select dealers, Tracfone-owned Page Plus has officially launched Verizon 4G LTE service and support. The service supports all Verizon 4G LTE smartphones that were previously activated on postpaid service and not reported lost/stolen or have a remaining balance due. While the 4G LTE support theoretically allows for full-speed service, Page Plus LTE speeds have been reported to be capped at 5Mbps from an initial rollout speed of 3Mbps in October, though the changes have yet to apply for all customers.

The following plans support LTE access, The 12 Plan is excluded from LTE device activation:

Talk n Text 1200 Monthly Plan $29.95 1200 minutes, overage 5¢/min 3000 SMS or MMS, overage 5¢/ea.
(*MMS charged at overage rate after monthly data is exhausted)
500MB, overage 5¢/MB
Unlimited Talk n Text Monthly Plan $39.95 unlimited domestic, 100 min international unlimited SMS & MMS*
(*MMS not unlimited, charged at overage rate after monthly data is exhausted)
1GB, overage 5¢/MB
The 55 Monthly Plan $55.00 unlimited domestic, 200 min international unlimited SMS or MMS*
(*MMS not unlimited, charged at overage rate after monthly data is exhausted)
3GB, overage 5¢/MB
The $69.95 Plan $69.95 unlimited domestic, 400 min international unlimited SMS or MMS*
(*MMS not unlimited, charged at overage rate after monthly data is exhausted)
5GB, overage 5¢/MB
