Nokia has announced the 6120 Classic. The ultra-thin Series 60 device
features a 2 inch QVGA screen with a depth of 16 million colors,
microSD expansion, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP stereo audio support, and
miniUSB with fullspeed USB 2.0 support.
It also features quadband GSM/EDGE support, and in a first for Nokia, dualband WCDMA UMTS/HSDPA support on the 2100 MHz and 850 MHz bands. The phone can access portions of AT&T’s UMTS network (but not the crucial 1900 MHz band), though is not intended for the United States, as Telstra in Australia also supports the 850Mhz band for UMTS/HSDPA access on their NextG branded network, and is mainly intended for international roaming. The phone is expected to be launched sometime in the the second quarter of this year.
