Following up on the E63 announcement, Nokia has announced that it plans to release the 1006 candybar phone for CDMA AWS carriers in the next few weeks.  The internally developed handset features the familiar Nokia user interface, color display, microUSB port, speakerphone, and messaging capabilities on top of voice recording, and data access.Â
No information on carriers or pricing is immediately available at this time.
