The Nokia 6585 CDMA2000 phone has been approved for sale in the United States by the FCC. This will allow Sprint to begin approving the phone as a Sprint device (this has probably already begun, but the phone can not pass final approval without FCC approval – Sprint is working much more closely with phone makers to deliver phones much closer to the date of FCC approval).
