Motorola Unveils A2DP Bluetooth Car System

Motorola today announced the first-ever Bluetooth car system with A2DP support. The phone maker is attempting to target customers with phones such as the Motorola E2 ROKR, who would like to leverage their in-car stereo system wirelessly.

The product bears an extremely long model, as the Motorola Automatic Music & Hands-free System T605. The AMHS features a 3.5 mm headphone jack, supporting the use of a standard MP3 player when an A2DP phone is absent.

The T605 is currently schedueled for launch in the first half of next year. Pricing and photos of the unit were not available.
