Motorola has invested quite a bit in Android, and the results have been positive enough to contemplate aborting the planned breakup of the company.
One of the fruits of this labor with Android, appears to be the HS1000. The phone is a cordless phone that connects to both a base station and a television. The device has a small on-device touch screen that can relay the picture to a television.
The result is a cordless phone that doubles as a webTV device. One major downside: No HD support, rendering it useless for most modern content. However, for basic web surfing, it certainly outperforms many set top boxes that sell just that.
