After a few months without any further notice besides an FCC filing, Motorola and AT&T have jointly announced the VA76r rugged 3G clamshell now branded as the Tundra.
The clamshell feartures a MilSpec bodyshell designed to withstand shock, vibration, dust and rain, quadband GSM/EDGE, dualband HSDPA access, Push to Talk with workforce management tools, GPS support, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, microSDHC expansion slot, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, and speakerphone.
The phone will launch on January 13th for business and normal customers online and through AT&T Retail Stores for $249.99 before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $199.99.
Nice looking phone.
Verizon needs to bring one of these to their line up instead of that stupid G’zone series.
