Motorola’s Android-powered Tablet Revealed

Late yesterday, Google and Motorola formally showed Motorola’s first tablet device running Android.

The unnamed device is powered by a dual-core NVIDIA processor, and is running a branch of Android 2.3, aka Gingerbread. While other publications are reporting that the device is running Android 3.0, Google has refuted this claim.

The device shown appeared to have few, if any hardware buttons; all standard Android keys were represented with on-screen buttons in a lower status bar.
