In a bid to remain relevant amongst the increasingly competitive mobile browser space, Microsoft has announced Internet Explorer Mobile which will be sent to ODMs in the third quarter for integration and ship with the next wave of Windows Mobile devices at the end of the year.
The browser will feature improvements found in Internet Explorer 6 along with support for Adobe Flash, H.264 video playback, and Silverlight for multimedia applications along with more imnprovements influenced by desktop browsing.
