Microsoft this morning released ActiveSync 4.2. This update to the essential sync program is a bug-fix release. Version 4.2 fixes problems in communicating with Microsoft Outlook, internet proxies, as well as problems with partnerships and connectivity.
Despite speculation from other web sites, ActiveSync 4.2 continues to support the full range of Windows Mobile devices, dating back to Pocket PC 2002 and Windows CE 3.0.
