LG has unveiled its latest platform for appliance control in LG THINQ, a communication platform designed to allow users the ability to manage their home appliances via smartphone. Devices that will be able to be controlled by the LG THINQ technology include vacuums and washing machines, as well as ovens and even refrigerators via a WiFi connection.
The optimization of home appliances is designed to save electricity by managing devices via a central computer, smartphone or tablet PC. Troubleshooting, repair and diagnostic systems will also be included. LG details several custom options for each application.
