LG has announced a new slate of phones in its mid-range L-series known as the L-Series III. The phones feature Android KitKat, HSPA+ support, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi while sharing minor differences in the three models, listed below as well as a non-slip backing it calls a Mesh Pattern and metallic finishes:
- L90: It has a 4.7-inch qHD display, quad-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 2,540mAh battery, and an 8-megapixel/1.3-megapixel front camera.
- L70: The L70 features a 4.5 inch display at 800 x 400 resolution, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 2,100mAh battery, and an 8- or 5-megapixel/VGA front camera depending on market/carrier selection.
- L40: The entry-level phone in the series features a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 display, dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 1,700mAh battery and a 3-megapixel main camera.
No pricing or release details have been released by LG, with these phones being focused on markets with 3G-only access. LG will also release companion Quick Window smart covers for the aforementioned phones in multiple colors as seen in the video below.
