LG has announced the successor to the G Pro in the G Pro 2. The phone features a larger 5.9-inch display, as opposed to its predecessor’s 5.5-inch panel with the same 1,920 x 1,080 resolution. Additionally, it has a new version of the G Pro’s knock-to-unlock feature that allows one to unlock and turn on the phone by tapping on the screen in a specific cadence unique to each user.
The phone also features has an optically stabilized 13-megapixel main camera and 32GB internal memory to store photos and any 4K or 120 fps HD video shot with the camera. The phone will ship with Android 4.4 (KitKat) in three colors: white, silver and black. LG has yet to reveal pricing and launch dates, which are expected during Mobile World Congress later this month.
