HTC X7501 Advantage Heads to the United States

HTC today announced that they will be selling the HTC Advantage officially in the United States. The Advantage is a super high-end PDA/phone that rivals ultra-mobile PCs features a 5-inch LCD display, as well as the following:

  • Tri-band UMTS/HSDPA with Quad-band GSM
  • Built-in GPS
  • 802.11g WiFi
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • 8 GB Hard Drive, 256 MB Flash ROM, 128 MB RAM
  • miniSD with SDIO
  • HTC VueFLO Nav (uses a built-in motion sensor to allow for easy scrolling)
  • Magnetic attachable QWERTY keyboard
  • 3 megapixel primary camera with VGA video calling camera
  • VGA and TV-out



HTC has announced that this will also be the first U.S. device to be branded under the HTC name in the United States. It will be sold as the HTC X7500 both here and abroad. HTC also confirmed to PhoneNews.com that AT&T Cingular will be carrying the device in some form (possibly online-only).
