As expected, AT&T and HTC have released an official firmware
update for owners of the 8525 smart device on AT&T.
According to reports, the update addresses bugfixes, rebranding of the
bootscreen, splashscreen and logos, adding an AT&T Music folder, as well as enabling the previously non-functional push to talk button found on the side of the device, and radio firmware changes designed to increase battery life. This update does not ship with an AKU update, it is only a firmware update, and
requires a full backup of all files before installation.
