HTC has announced the latest additions to its Desire series in the 300 and 601 smartphones. The phones share key specifications in Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.0, BlinkFeed, and HTC Zoe support along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and support for microSD cards up to 64GB.
The HTC Desire 300 features a 4.3-inch WVGA display, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 512MB of RAM, a 5-megapixel camera with WVGA (800×480) resolution video capture and a removable battery at 1650 mAh. The Desire 601 features a 4.5-inch qHD resolution display, 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel camera with back-side illumination and 1080p HD video capture, dual front speakers with BoomSound support and an embedded, non-removable 2200mAh battery.
Additionally, HTC has confirmed a Blue color variant of the HTC One smartphone, but has yet to confirm pricing and release details for the phone, with Sprint being heavily tipped to be one of the carriers to release that color soon.
