Software company Honestech has introduced a remote broadcast solution for owners of
Windows Mobile devices. Called MY-IPTV Anywhere Mobile, the solution
consists of a USB 2.0 TV Tuner and remote access software that is
installed on the host computer running Windows XP and device.
Once
installed and configured through Honestech’s server, the software
allows channel surfing and changing, as well as DVR functionality right
on the Windows Mobile device, with recording done in MPEG-4/H.264
format. A Wi-Fi or high-speed 3G connection is reccomended on the
device for the best experience. The cost of the bundle starts
at $99.99. No release date was available at this time.
