Samsung has listed a new entry-level feature phone for MetroPCS in the Samsung Freeform M. The Freeform M is the first MetroPCS-branded Samsung featurephone not compatible with the carrier’s current CDMA network and is instead a GSM variant compatible with T-Mobile’s GSM network, though it does not feature 3G/4G LTE support.
The Freeform M features a QWERTY keyboard, a 2.4-inch display with 240 x 320 pixels and a 2-megapixel camera with video capture and no flash. The Freeform M also supports microSD cards up to 32GB and features partial voice command support. Other features include GPS, Bluetooth and a Wi-Fi radio. Metro PCS has yet to announce or list the phone for sale.
