Google has begun to push out an update to the Nexus One in version 2.2.1 of the operating system. There is currently no changelog available, but the technical changes can be found below.

One issue found so far has been the hampered performance of virtual keyboards ported from other devices and third-party virtual keyboards such as Swype not working, with others such as SwifKey functioning incorrectly. Those that use such keyboards are advised to refrain from the update.
