Our sister site, CheapenGadget.com, has covered Verizon’s deal ending today. Activation is waived on the BlackBerry Storm, making that the cheapest price out there for upgrades. Upgrade fees are rarely waived, and Verizon has the lowest price for upgraders that does not require having the phone active for long durations.
Considering the $250 difference between the upgrade price, and no-commitment price, it is an excellent phone to cash in on, considering that Verizon now prorates their early termination fees.
The BlackBerry Storm is $249.99 with two-year agreement, $319.99 with one-year agreement, and $499.99 without contract. A $50 mail-in rebate (shipped with the phone, for new customers) brings the two-year price to $199.99, and the one-year price to $269.99.
Hello!
I recently purchased a unlocked blackberry storm. It was purchased online. I need to activate it, what should I do?
