Cardo Systems today announced the scala s-800 headset. The Bluetooth 2.0 headset builds on the existing scala 700 with a refined design. The new design supports in-ear and over-the-ear attaching.
In addition, it directly addresses criticisms of the scala 700 that PhoneNews.com pointed out in its review of the scala 700. Specifically, the s-800 offers an LED-off mode to mute the bright LED in environments where such a blinking light can be distracting.
The s-800 still offers all features found in previous scala headsets; buzz headset-locator, auto-answer, callback functionality, and multi-headset pairing. The headset will be available for purchase on May 25 with an MSRP of $74.99.
