Comcast has announced in a blog post that it has launched the Novatel MiFi 4082 3G/4G Hotspot as an addition to its current hardware offerings. The Xfinity-branded hotspot is identical to the recently launched Sprint version with Wi-Fi N radio, GPS support, display for signal strength and battery life indicator. The hotspot supports up to five devices with availability limited to the Nationwide Preferred service plan which includes 5GB of monthly 3G access as well as unlimited 4G WiMax access.
