Palm today announced that they are offering a limited-edition version of the GSM Treo 650. Palm’s Black Tie Edition Treo 650 celebrates 10 years of producing PDA, dating back to the original Palm Pilot. However, there are few technical changes from the standard Treo 650. Previously, Palm had only announced the release of the Black Tie Treo 650 in Asia.
The Black Tie Treo 650 will feature a hard black outer case, with the standard GSM silver casing around the display. The stylus has been upgraded with a dual stylus/pen combo. Palm will retail the device, shipping today, for $599 unlocked, with no-contract.
