Starting today, you can now buy an iPhone 3G from Best Buy without contract. The phones will be available at $599 for the 8GB version, and $699 for the 16GB version.
This now leaves national retailer Walmart as the only iPhone sales channel which has not offered no-contract sales in some form. However, all are still at the same higher-than-paying-the-termination-fee prices noted above.
The sales appears to be limited to retail Best Buy stores, to limit sales to unlockers.
