AT&T has announced that it will launch the Moto G LTE version on Friday. The phone is an update to the wildly popular low-cost Moto G that adds LTE access and a microSD expansion slot, but is otherwise identical to the first model in terms of specifications with slight updates, listed below:
- 4.5-inch 720p HD display with Corning® Gorilla® Glass for added protection
- Liquid resistance technology to help protect against everyday mishaps
- Performance and browsing is enhanced with quad core processing power and fast 4G LTE speeds
- Dual cameras (5 MP rear with LED flash and 1.3 MP front) for photos and HD video recording
- The best of Google with the newest Android OS 4.4.4 KitKat® update
- Motorola Grip Shells that provide protection and style, available in bright colors for personalization without adding extra bulk (sold separately as an accessory for the Moto G)
- Curved design that allows users to easily navigate the display with just one hand
The device will cost $199.99 with no contract, $7.50 per month with AT&T Next 18, $9 per month with AT&T Next 12, or $79.99 with a one-year contract. AT&T’s Cricket also carries this model of the Moto G, having launched it last month.
