AT&T to Launch BlackBerry Bold on November 4th

By Humberto Saabedra on October 22, 2008

AT&T has officially announced a release date for the long awaited BlackBerry Bold.

The device will now launch on November 4th for $299.99 on a new 2 year agreement with applicable rebates.

This comes after numerous delays as a consequence of AT&T’s demanding software and firmware customization requirements on top of extensive field testing to ensure a uniform experience for all users.

The device features a landscape half VGA (480×320) display, quadband GSM/EDGE access, triband W-CDMA access with support for UMTS and HSDPA high speed data access and full international 3G roaming, Wi-Fi radio with support for advanced WPA encryption, microSDHC slot, 1GB of internal memory, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder, flash and zoom, speakerphone, media player, voice activated dialing, noise cancellation, document viewer/editor, GPS transceiver, and Bluetooth 2.0 with stereo audio support.
