Sources in Best Buy are reporting stock is being taken of the upcoming MPx220 smartphone. AT&T Wireless is also expected to launch the handset at about the same time. Cingular is expected to launch the device for $349.99 with a two-year agreement, and AT&T Wireless is expected to launch it for $449.99 without any agreement.
The Motorola MPx220 is a revision to the sucessful MPx200 Microsoft Smartphone. Upgrading to Windows Mobile 2003SE, the MPx220 will double to memory to 64 MB, is more compact thanks to adopting miniSD cards, and includes a megapixel camera as well as built-in Bluetooth.
