Though launching a bit more slowly than the Sony Ericsson W580i, AT&T has launched the Sony Ericsson Z310a. The basic phone builds on the prior Z300a with a VGA camera, Bluetooth, EDGE, built-in instant messenger, tri-band (850/1800/1900) GSM, and a redefined external flip.

While the Z300 series is aimed at the low-end, this phone features most technologies found in high-end phones… it is the first low-end Sony Ericsson phone to feature both Bluetooth and EDGE. Sony Ericsson is launching the phone in lush pink and jet black colors.
The Sony Ericsson Z310a is available for free with new two-year agreement, $179.99 without contract.
I recently “upgraded” to the Sony Ericcson z310A. After weeks of being unable to reliably receive calls (most went straight to voicemail) AT&T claimed this phone doesn’t work on their network and I switched to Verizon Wireless after being jerked around for weeks by AT&T.
This phone is spectecular. I accidently left it outside for 3 days and it suffered rain. When i found it it worked fine. The camera is good and calling is easy to work. I would recomend it
