AT&T has launched another version of the Sony Ericsson W580i, this time in a subdued pink color designed for the fairer sex as well as a potential gift for Valentine’s Day.
The phone is identical to the original white version launched last year featuring Bluetooth with stereo audio support, Walkman branded media player, 2.0 megapixel camera with video recorder and 4x zoom, FM radio with RDS tagging support, quadband GSM/EDGE support, MemoryStick Micro expansion slot, fitness applications such as a pedometer and calorie counter, and a built-in accelorometer that can be used to control the music player with a flick of the wrist to change tracks in sequence or a slight shake up and down to shuffle songs.
The phone is now available online from AT&T for a retail price of $279.99 or $129.99 after a new 2 year agreement before an additional $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $79.99.
