AT&T has launched the Option Quicksilver USBConnect modem.
The modem features quadband GSM/EDGE and triband UMTS/HSPA access with a unique swiveling design that is designed to fit around many cramped spaces while also tucking away the modem for damage prevention. Â It also features automatic client installation on Windows systems and Mac OS X support through a separate client download.
The modem is now available for $249.99 with No Commitment, or $100 with new 2 year agreement and qualifying LaptopConnect plan with an additional $100 mail-in rebate, bringing the total cost to free on contract.
