AT&T has launched the LG Encore mid-range multimedia handset for $99.99 after new 2 year agreement or $199.99 with no commitment. The phone is also being sold online with an additional $50 instant discount, bringing the total to $49.99.
The LG Encore features quadband GSM/EDGE and dual-band HSDPA support, aGPS support via AT&T Navigator, accelerometer, and Bluetooth with stereo audio, a 3.0 megapixel camera with video capture and is compatible with AT&T’s Video Share. The Encore’s media player includes streaming radio support and is certified for Dolby Mobile media playback along with a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD slot with support for 16 GB cards.
