Following up on yesterday’s announcement of free daily Wi-Fi access for iPhone/3G users, AT&T has announced that it will now expand the free daily access to users of the forthcoming BlackBerry Bold, as well as the 8820 and 8120 Pearl in the future.
The service will be rolled out first for Bold customers when the device launches next November 4th, with all smartphones being included down the line as free AT&T Wi-Fi access will be rolled into smartphone data plans in the future, in a manner similar to T-Mobile’s data plans.
