AT&T (Finally) Launches LG CU500v With Video Share (Updated Again)

AT&T has launched the LG CU500v, the first phone to support its
new Video Share Calling service.

The service is a one-way version of video calling where the
initiating caller can hit “Share Video” after the initial call setup
and it sends their video to the other caller with another compatible
Video Share handset. The initiating caller pays any video sharing fees.

The phone is functionally the same as the CU500 we reviewed last year,
with dualband UMTS/HSDPA (850/1900), microSD expansion, 1.3 megapixel
camera with video recorder, quadband GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900),
media player, stereo speakers with stereo speakerphone, Bluetooth with
A2DP stereo audio support, QVGA display, Cingular Music and
Video support, and media player. The phone is now available for $29.99 with new 2 year agreement, $20 instant online discount and $50 mail in rebate.
