AT&T has announced a new slate of international roaming plans that aim to make international roaming much simpler and more cost-effective. Previously, AT&T’s international roaming options required mixing and matching voice, messaging and data into expensive a a-la-carte add-ons to monthly service plans before departing. These new options are meant to make international roaming options much less complicated, though the AT&T Global roaming plans are still available outside of these Passport plans for roaming needs longer than 30 days or those that want data-only options.
