AT&T and HTC have jointly announced the latest low-cost Android smartphone in the longstanding mid-range Desire line in the 610. The 610 features a 4.7-inch FWVGA (854×480) display, 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 8.0 megapixel main camera, VGA front camera, 4G LTE support, and a microSD memory card slot. The design is inspired by the HTC One in a high-quality plastic bodyshell. Like the sibling One, it features BoomSound dual front speakers and Zoe video functionality as its key features. AT&T is offering Next pricing for the Desire 610, which varies between $8.34/month for 18 months or $10/month for 12 months as well as GoPhone prepaid for $199.99. The phone will be available starting next week on July 25th.
