Asus Announces US Version Of Intel-Powered PadFone Mini

Following up on the PadFone X announcement, Asus also announced the PadFone Mini a significantly cheaper version of the Padfone and Padfone X. Unlike the previous Padfone and Padfone X that feature a Snapdragon processor, the Padfone Mini features an Intel Atom Z2560 dual-core processor. The device specifications are also significantly downgraded from the aforementioned versions with a 4-inch smartphone and 7-inch tablet, 8GB of storage for the phone and an 800 x 480 display. Asus has not confirmed further details outside of the above, such as launch details, other than the planned US launch at this time for $249.99
