Apple has sent press invites to a new event scheduled for March 7th related to the iPad as evidenced by the image, which details a higher-resolution Calendar icon than previously seen on previous versions of iOS. The event is expected to detail thev third variant of the iPad which is expected to feature a quad-core version of the A series processor and improved GPU as well as a much higher resolution 10-inch Retina Display and support for 4G LTE connectivity.
Financial television network CNBC is claiming on Twitter that Apple will break from its traditional event location at the Yerba Buena Center for the Performing Arts in San Francisco, but this does not mean that the event will be held in New York, despite past Apple events being recently held in Manhattan and will be held as expected in San Francisco.
