After first announcing that the White iPhone would be shipping at the end of this month, Apple has released a statement delaying its release again due to continued manufacturing issues, while the current black model is unaffected.
“White models of Apple’s new iPhone® 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.â€
In related news, Apple has begun its Bumper case program for current and future iPhone orders via iPhone app after beginning its refund program for the same accessory this week.
