The Android Developers blog has announced that the Android Marketplace has now been updated to support and allowing developers to submit paid applications after first announcing the feature during the G1 launch last year.
The UK has also been included in today’s rollout of paid application support with Germany, Austria, Netherlands, France, and Spain to have their local Marketplace versions enabled by the end of the quarter with more countries announced by the second half of the year.
The first paid applications are expected to be available by the middle of next week
